South Shore Emmanuel

led by Mei-Ying Yang in Montreal South Shore, QC

South Shore Emmanuel Alliance is an example of what can happen when churches collaborate in prayer and venture together for the kingdom of God.

When the seven other Chinese churches in Montreal recognized that over 27,000 newcomers from mainland China were steadily settling in Montreal’s South Shore, they began to pray and plan for how to reach this growing demographic.

After casting vision with the CCACA for a future church, the existing church communities began to strategize. They also hosted bi-weekly prayer meetings ahead of the full launch in September 2017.

In addition to lead pastor Pastor Mei-Ying Yang, South Shore Emmanuel Alliance is supported by three consulting pastors in the area.
