A new expression of church in Renfrew, ON
Church @ the Table is located in Renfrew, a community in the Ottawa Valley of Ontario! The New Venture’s hope is to be prayer-fuelled, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, Great Commission-focused, and committed to discipleship. Specifically, this initiative is responding to a felt need for a multi-generational church expression in Renfrew, especially geared towards young families, youth and children.
Led by Brant and Susan Levert, Church @ the Table aims to reach Renfrew locals who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. How do they hope to do so? In short, the table is at the center of their vision. The idea is to build community around dinner tables, and break bread with neighbours, strangers and family in this small town Canadian context.
While leaning into this heart for hospitality, Church @ the Table will also launch worship services, discipleship efforts and initiatives like Alpha and Every Home for Christ.
This New Venture represents a partnership between the Eastern Canadian District and Proximity Church.

You can join the team in praying…
That the Lord would send out workers into the Renfrew harvest to co-labour with them in establishing Church @ the Table.
That Church @ the Table would become a place where young families, children and youth in the Valley are discipled into Christ. Again, for co-workers with a vision to disciple the youngest generations.
That unity would grow amongst churches in Renfrew. That this New Venture could be part of fostering healthy church relationships.
That the Alpha Course they plan to host in the late Spring of 2023 would be fruitful.
