Emily Crow

NEW VENTURES APPRENTICE

Emily Crow is a New Venture Apprentice in North York, ON, within the Eastern District of the Alliance Canada. She brings to her Apprenticeship many years of campus ministry experience both local and internationally. Her work and experience with InterVarsity has given her practical experience in building faith communities in a variety of locations.

More recently she has sensed a burden for the local church. Through a season of prayer and discernment, Emily and her husband Eric are faithfully exploring how they can join with Jesus to love others through starting a home church within their neighborhood. Built into her Apprenticeship experience will be mentorship and support from others who are already practicing this model of church.

The purpose of Emily’s apprenticeship environment is to explore and cultivate what the formation of a church community might look like. Her prayer is to lean into developing discipleship, missional rhythms, and hospitality, while also intentionally finding ways to include both young families and older adults.

This apprenticeship is supported by the following partners: The Living Room Church, InterVarsity Canada, and The Eastern District. Emily and Eric are both looking forward to discovering the ways they can join with Jesus to make the world a more loving place.

PRAY
