An emerging community in Dundas, ON
With a population of 30,000 people, the city of Dundas is quite small but has all the necessary amenities closeby. The proximity of Burlington, Mississauga, and Toronto make Dundas a very desirable place to live and it is an appealing home for many young families. In conversation with people already living in Dundas, Alliance leader Darin Martin and a team of people recently identified a need for a community of believers that could worship and do life together in this city.
After 9 months of gathering to discern and listen to Jesus at work, a small group of families from Dundas and Hamilton have sensed a call to start a New Venture. While they don’t have a fully clear picture of what they will be doing, they will continue to practice presence and respond to the prompting of the Spirit.
This New Venture is supported by the Central Canadian District.
