Misty River Ministries
ministering to First Nations People in Hazelton, BC
Under the leadership of Bart and Korrin Metcalfe, Misty River Ministries does a great deal of work with young adults who have troubled pasts. Their vision is to reach young people for Christ, disciple them as believers and trust God to raise up leaders from among them to reach their own generation (2 Tim. 2:2).
A fellowship called "Grace Gathering" has been gathering since early 2015. The gathering aims to provide a healthy church environment for people who have never experienced church so that it can be replicated in various house church communities in the Hazelton area.
Daily ministry takes place in Gitanyow, Kitwanga, Gitsegukla, New Hazelton, Gitanmaax, Glen Vowell and Kispiox, among youth through evangelism and discipleship ministry.
