With a rich Christian history, the biggest resistance is "been there done that" attitude among those disaffected with their experience of the church. The percentage of people in Atlantic Canada who report attending religious services at least once a month dropped by 26 points between 1986 and 2011.
Comprised of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland, Atlantic Canada is physically beautiful, historically important and home to some of Canada's most prominent cultural leaders.
Life in this region is a rich family experience for most people at a slower pace than elsewhere with all the amenities of modern life. Stable long-term employment and the climatic reality of living and working on North Atlantic ocean could be considered the most difficult aspects of living here.
New Ventures that reach Acadians (franco-Maritimers), new Canadians/international students and First Nations are what we focus on starting in this region.
